In the grand scheme of things, yes, a forum is generally for public discussion, but occasionally (as is the case now), a well established forum provides a diverse audience for ascertaining information of a private nature.
Also sometimes there are matters which an NDA means you can't speak too freely about, no idea about the specifics of the dreamcast/sega/3rd party NDAs of the time but I know a few Japanese devs cannot speak about some famicom stuff lol If they're any way near as scary as the one I had to sign I cannot blame being careful about certain knowledge, at least until the contracted period of silence is over lol.
Hmm, we should designate a legal team for AssemblerGames. They can work night and day to find loopholes in NDAs so that we can know EVERYTHING >. (Nah, NDAs are scary, I've been in one and only one, and it had nothing to do with the gaming industry, but it was just as scary, it was an environmental thing that could've cost the whole family everything...., and it wasn't even about anything I dealt with, but rather, my moms job )
My brother was placed into one to do with Driver Parallel Lines back when he was in Uni. That was literally you mention the name and a feature and we will be breathing down your neck.
let me guess the company your mom worked for was dumping nasty crap into peoples drinking water hello Erin brokavish got a case for you lol
No, my mom works for an environmental company, and she knows about what OTHER people were pumping into the ground, and therefore into the ground water. It's not pretty, and I still can't say what it was, but I can say that the area isn't in the best of shape because around here that is just common knowledge
