for my age i feel that im rather old school in my methods: Dont use twitter dont see the point. only really use facebook for the messenger. still using msn yeah 10 years ive been using it. rarely text any one or phone. use skype or go and see the person face to face use irc's to talk to people at uni dont see point in tablets would much rather have a laptop refuse to lisern to music in public find it rude and not enjoyable still prefer to write stuff on paper (my handwriting is the worst of any of my friends basically unreadable dont know why i try) and thats the ones i can think of i do enjoy new technology and am usually a early adopter of but somethings i dont see the point off or find more of a inconvenience.
I've only just acquired a smartphone (samsung galaxy SII) for work as I had a shitty £10 phone I got on fine with for about 5 years, now I can do all these things on it (inc. full control of all computers and router on my home network from anywhere) I'm wondering how I survived without one. I do find the social network sites to be a pain in the ass though. And on the music thing, I always have to take an MP3 player of some sort with me when I go out. I can't stand having to listen to other people or their shitty music when I'm in public. Especially if I'm on the bus, I just pop the earphones in and I'm in my own little world.
My first MSN account will be entering it's 10th year this year. Many people don't use MSN anymore and I've lost contact with a lot of e-friends.
I've had my MSN account for well over ten years now. MSNM used to be the only cool way to contact people, I haven't logged into it for about a year now and I'd imagine my hotmail address is full of junk.
It seems like Junk has gone up ALOT. Not the kind you can unsubscribe from either. A sudden increase of viagra and people from nigeria with lots of money.
I was using Micro Tapes and normal size tapes, in fact my normal tape play still works. I don't know about my Micro player though. :/ I remember records, they where not portable like tapes, but they had record players that came in briefcase style enclosures (I think I still have mine, I would have to check.) Man am I showing my age, but I am under 40. -hugh
I'm 16 and have a gramophone that I use regularly. Not a record player. Good old shellac record playin' gramophone. *thumbs up*
