    Hi.

I never got to play Ikaruga, so I bought a copy off of eBay. Well, I acted in ignorance and did not check all of the auction details, and after paying realized that it only includes the game disc. I asked the seller if a refund was possible, but have not gotten a reply yet.

I understand if he/she is unwilling to offer a refund, so I was wondering if anyone here has high res scans of the box art for the Gamecube version of Ikaruga, so that I can make my own box for it.

    Id appreciate it muchly. Thanks!

What resolution do I need to scale those images down to to fit the GC Case?

Curious, how much did you pay for just the disc?

I was thrilled when I made it to the third level...

    ...and promptly died.

Then again, I'm terrible at shooters. It's fun to play, at any rate.

I like Treasure, period. I like Radiant Silvergun as well, so theres a solid chance of me enjoying Ikaruga.

Same here - I really liked Gunstars Heroes as well! I ll be honest though. Although i do own a Saturn, i never got to have Radiant Silvergun.. and my saturn is now packed somewhere dark, which means that i won't have access to it for the next three years at least:(

PS: I too suck at arcade shooters :p 1941 included:p

The only thing bad about the artwork is that damn IGN quote.

Get the japanese artwork instead then. Ikaruga and Radiant Silvergun are amazing and very difficult shooters. It's a shame they never came out on PS2 because they'd go well with Gradius V and Raiden III that I have for PS2. I do what a RS disc (not original) for my Saturn laying around somewhere.

I bought Ikaruga at wallmart for $15 brand new. Also, they had Ico for the same price.

I can make it to the 4th level, but some stupid sattelite thing never fails to kill me.

To me, it doesnt start getting hard until the third stage, when you must be fast and agile to dodge these structures, while shooting the guys coming from behind you or something.

From there, I die every 5 seconds.
