Hello to everybody! I'm a newbie here, this is my very first post on assemblergames. I wrote a FAQ concerning every commercial release for N64 and DD64 (see Game List by Simon <a href=http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/n64/game/916387.html>here</a>). What I would like to know now is what are all the proto and demo carts found for the N64, owned by collectors, and which are in playable format. Besides, I would like to know more from the world of collecting and prototype hunting and the like. Thanks to you all in advance!
Assuming there isn't already a list, I'll try to contribute a little. I saw a 40 Winks prototype on eBay a few months ago. It was playable, but I'm not sure if it was complete or not. It hasn't been dumped to my knowledge. Echo Delta (was that the name?) was also for sale, but it was on these very boards. I don't know who bought it or if it was dumped. Sorry I'm not much help, but I'm not a really big Nintendo 64 fan.
Oh, thanks! These are the ones I have seen pics of: Ohcouchi Gengorou Ikka and Toon Panic This makes the list like this: 40 winks Echo Delta Ohcouchi Gengorou Ikka Toon Panic Four. It's ok, considering I've learned about these thins today Besides, I'm pretty sure RE0 was playable in Shoshinkai or Tokyo Game show or something like that. However, no confirmation from anybody until now, so let's still count it as four. If somebody else knows about ANTHING please let me know. Screenshots are aprecciated as well. Thanks!
Hmmm... I did not get why the giggle... Maybe I'm just stupid. Anyway, the list goes up, I have found about a proto of Doubutsu Banchou. Note that i'm only interested in protos of non-released games.
Oh, i forgot: there is also a DUMPED one, Robotech: Crystal Dreams. Sorry if I am bothering you people, but it makes me glad Oh, God, I AM stupid
hi Fabrizo just heard back from you. I'd have talked more in detail but its first I've heard from you since. Hey Taemos, to be honest I only wanted to sell Echo Delta for about a day , I wasn't going for buyers, mostly I wanted to let people know I'd got the game and show pics and things, then we all got to talk about it and stuff. (As opposed to whisteling and looking up when I'd read people talk about it ). Greatsaintlouis and I've already discussed this in detail and some others also. So we've tried to see where that would go before. That and pretty much I talked about the game and it's cousins being made around that time by the company. Greatsaintlouis, who is most contributive talked about some do's and don'ts to avoid a PA type scenario and other helpfull insights. I don't know that we ever "went after" that idea. So wheels are turning and I talk with some right people you'd work with on this stuff. To stay on topic I'm sure I know some different N64 carts to talk about here, I'll talk it over with some people and maybe dig something up in the proccess.
Was this the one on Yahoo Japan which was going to be a community dump (lead by legit i believe) If not, then that one needs to be added to the list.

Certain people aren't allowed to talk about certain things because of certain legal issues. I think that's about as informative I can make that without getting into trouble .
