Hi! Not to much to say really, I am new to retro game collecting scene. Although I do collect vinyl/resin art figures. I do have quite alot of old consoles and hand helds, however none have boxes. I dont quite understand how I have managed to loose boxes for all of these, its like they have little legs. I also have a fair amount of Super Famicom carts also. It will be interesting to keep tabs on threads/information on here to aid my collecting. How safe is the buying forum? Has there been any trouble with scammers that one should be aware of? I Think I am going to aim for Super Famicom games to start with as I already have a head start (however I will probably re-purchase what I own, purely for boxes/manuals) then move on to Famicom + disk system software. A bold idea indeed. I hope everyone is well, Daniel.
As always, you need to be careful when buying items over the internet. I personally have had nothing but excellent transactions here on the ASSEMbler forums. You can always check out a seller's feedback as well in the Feedback forum. EDIT: oh, and welcome to the forums. make sure you read the marketplace rules before buying or selling anything!
Cheers Hi, thanks for the reply. I am always quite cautious, maybe a bit over cautious. I have used the Kidrobot forums a lot for purchasing in the past, where I have been very lucky with transactions with boardies, there is a hell of a lot of scammers on there. Its very off putting to say the least.
