This is a shot in the dark here as I'm no expert on video encoding, but are you recording at 60fps? Perhaps you are inadvertently creating ghost frames by adding a transitional image between each frame. 30 + 30 = 60, so if you try and add an extra 30 frames to content that runs at 30fps, it has to find 30 other instances to generate frames from, such as the moment where one frame transitions to the other. This would result in a ghost image as only 30 pure frames exist in each second. I probably have no idea what I'm talking about lol, but food for thought.

    PROBLEM SOLVED!

Hey guys, so I switched to another video recording software called AmaRecTV. Let me keep this short, it must have been just the software that was shitty because OH MY GOD THIS OTHER ONE WORKS SO WELL!

Just watch this footage I record from a VHS source at 60FPS ;) :

Now granted I've capture footage at a higher frame-rate, but the point is the ghosting/interlacing problems are gone. Gone. I was so stoked. And since YouTube can now playback videos at 60FPS, I don't have to worry about going back to 30FPS anymore.

I do want to thank you all for the help you've offered to me since this thread started. I've got some awesome VHS rips of old game footage that I think you guys will love seeing at 60FPS, not just this high-resolution footage of RE0 (N64). =)
