Some time ago (maybe 5-6 years) there was a very interesting collector posting videos on YouTube. Almost every single video of him contained a commentary like "omg this is very unique item, there are only [random number from 1 to 4] of them exist!". I don't really know what happened, but somehow it was revealed that all those games he was showing were fake and all of them were forged by him. A little drama had place, cause he was very high-minded, and cursed everyone who tried to critisize him. Finally, he deleted his channel, if I correct, in 2012?.. I don't remember, really. What was his name? Did someone saved some of his videos? And how exactly he got caught on his fraud?
This is super vague Could you perhaps describe WHAT he showcased in the video? That would help narrow it down a lot, because a ton of names channels and more come to mind with your description.
Looool I didn't make videos of games tho, just hardware. But thanks for the kind gesture, it really tickled my balls in a way I've never been tickled before.
There is absolutely nothing to be scared of at all. You might want to sleep with your lamp on then, and a nice calm tune.
Such a lovely atmosphere there, lol But still... There were really so much YouTubers with fake "extremely rare and unique" carts in 2012? Some kind of trend, or what? I myself very vaguely remember him, even though at some point there was quite a buzz about him
So you've narrowed it down to "carts" Can you be more specific to what content they had? It's not really easy to get answers for you with it being so vague still.
No, sorry, that's all I remember. I couldn't imagine it to be so hard to find him. Maybe you'll name me some of them, and I'll tell details based on their videos?
This was before Google+ took over YouTube. What I can remember, that's he had, maybe, 3-4 videos about some "very early prototype" Pokemon carts for Game Boy. There were even some parody videos on this topic. (I still can't believe there was a lot of such fakers)
