Yeah, I heard that they are later others but it's worth it IMO. He watches Postman Pat, Thomas the Tank Engine and Bob the Builder DVDs all in English. For some reason he loves Postman Pat. He even has a Postman Pat football that he loves to hold. Thank God we have Amazon that will ship anywhere :)

@Tatsujin - Yeah the guy interviewing me just happened to be German, at Bayer (Material Sciences) over half the foreign staff are German but the official language of the Tokyo office is still English.

And yes "whipped" might just be the word of the moment. I am typing this with my gf in the shower and I don't think I have gone a full day without seeing her for the last month. I can't remember the last time I broke out the Yakitori or Yakiniku or hit a nomihodai hard. But still I must confess to being quite happy.

Oh btw GaijinPunch - nice review of Mushi Black. I am still struggling with stage 3 maniac. I just seem to always drop a remain somewhere stupid.

We ought to go out as a four of an evening. I fancy trying Alcatraz E.R. in Dogenzaka.

Hah! I am afraid I actually went there with my GF a while ago! Alcatraz is pretty cool, though I was the victim of a giant syringe up the arse! ( don't ask )

But yeah we should go out. I am actually pretty free at the moment, term has finished at Meiji and I am actually on holiday. Though I am being kept busy, with job and the ol GF.

Yeah, I thought you might have - you have your rock star image to keep up ;-)

I know what you mean though, been working all day and then entertaining my gf all evening for the past few weeks, although she went back to the UK this morning (sniff :crying:)

I've been playing God exclusively. Got the clear, but am trying to break 3 bil. 3rd stage sucks in all modes... hardest stage other than 5.

I'm going somewhere in Roppongi Midtown tonight. Some party or something rather. Wish I knew more, but don't.

I've learned virtually all of my Japanese via anime/video games, not jack for written but spoken. Enough to get by on a day to day basis given a proper dictionary. I tend to impress Japan town shops in San Francisco with my prounciations for some reason, always thought my accent was horrible.

Helps since almost everything is in kanji and romanji.

I know jack as far as stringing much of a sentence together, but studying a Japanese martial art (Bujinkan) has at least tossed terms at me to know/remember. It's also a motivator since in later stages in training, one is required to visit the honbu dojo at least once a year.

Just the same as we have in here. Helps alot to keep foreigners away, if you ask me, but also, helps alot on restrenghtening the culture.
So only positive points! (joke)
