So I checked my emails and what do I find? I mean the only comics I have bought anyway are all 6 issues of The Infinity Gauntlet (1991) and the only reason I bought them is because I did a bullshit psychometric test on Facebook 4 years ago which said of all of the Marvel Comics characters my cognitive style / personality closest matches Thanos (until then I had never heard of the character). You've also got to love the fact that they can still be downlaoded up until mid-January 2012. Yes we can go back in time and redownload them! It is probably just a typo meaning January 2013 but still, normally you can access purchased items indefinitely. What a gyp! In fact fuck it, my PSP is going on eBay tomorrow and no I won't be replacing it with a Vita. A bit of an overreaction for sure, but I'm broke, I have other stuff to buy and I don't have time for any of this bullshit!
And that's what will happen to all DLC eventually (not only added content, but full games as well)... f*ck digital distribution! Being Sony, I assume the comics are DRM-protected so you can't keep a backup... (no offense meant to OP; in fact I buy lots of digital downloads, but try to do so only for non-DRM'd stuff...)
I'm sure most full games will, but I'm also sure a lot of DLC will get lost... (I know, much of it is just crap...).
I'm sure most of the DLC will be fine (if not all of it because i'm sure there are some people who'll archive it), alot of people keep saying that all of the DLC for dreamcast games is lost and unobtainable but alot of it (maybe all of it) is archived and accessible if you can find it and know how to use it.
