(don't forget to watch in high-quality)

This is the best version of IMSA Racing for M2 that I've seen--It's a near final build from mid-1997 and clearly superior to the other footage seen of the alpha version from late 1996.

The more I see of the M2 the more I wonder why the hell someone else didn't pick up the hardware and release it. With a bit of spit and polish it would have been a much greater launch game than ridge racer.

I do think the m2 was quite strong and could have possibly beat with the ps1, Saturn and n64 because looking at IMSA and seeing the quality of that game which was/ may have been intended as a launch title and thinking what could have been done with games when devs got to grips with the system and its hardware.

    Great video.

And i agree with 3do. Just wonder how the 2nd and even 3rd generation of games for that hardware would look like.

Nice video, thanks for sharing :)

I agree, it looked like the system certainly had potential. Whether it would have beaten the others, I don't know. Yes, it had the capability, but I would imagine that it wouldn't have taken off as the others were better positioned to produce a load of the hardware and spend a lot on marketing.

A shame, but nice to be able to see what could have been.

probably it would have ended like a dreamcast... in any case it could have been a quality machine, really.
