Saw this last night. Not the kind of movie I would see on my own, but I went with a pal. I'd have to say the graphics are much improved, but clearly they are intentionally blurry at some points, and some of the objects you know will be touched by the hulk as they start looking like plastic. The movie starts out strong, but to me the final half of the movie just drags on and end in a disappointing fashion. The cameos are great, but if you're a fan they might spoil certain parts as you are suddenly ripped from the story. Sort of like if you had chris rock pop up as a messenger boy in saving private ryan, it's just jarring. Entertaining but I will pass on any further sequels.
I was between seeing this or Mongol, and I chose the second option obviously. Not to say that Mongol was flawless - far from it!! They present the great Gengis Khan in a romantic fashion while his wife fucks around and gets knocked-up by just about everyone and the desert sand. This is in contrast with the fact that Temudgin was one of the greatest "fathers" of all time, having more children from different women than anyone else in recorded history !!!
Well it was good for what it was, liked it better then indiana jones. The best part was the ending. One of the best cameos in movie history.
More like a tie in, remember they are the avengers after all. They made it a bit too cartoony for me, they seem to be getting progressively more campy with each movie...
I went to see the movie and loved it so 2 horus later i went again, but this time to a different theatre which i knew was better appearance wise. As the movie is playing and hes about to go to sleep i notice they jump the roll into him being in america just seeing his ex girlfriend and then that one guy getting the genetic enhancements, THEN later it jumps back to him not being in american and hes just having his first encounter. All i can say is that me and a couple other people noticed and got our money back..they like butured the movie.bull shit.
The movie lost it after the rio chase scene. The final fight was so long and pointless. Why not have one of hulk's calssic enemies appear? It's like they copied ironman line for line. Literally the end fights are clones, the hero vs a perverted version of himself.
Yea the abomination kindof reminded me of Iron man when Obadiah created his own suit...the abomination was just a spin off of the hulks beta radiation.
Well while it isn't anything close to how good ironman was, it was ALOT better then the Ang Lee hulk movie. Supposedly the original cut of this movie is alot better. One thing I found strange is when hulk has his first battle with the army on the college campus, the building he just jumped out of was done in full cg instead of just having hulk in front of the actual building. This made it look awkward when they would cut between him and everyones reaction.
I think the cgi helicopter ruined it. Obviously they made the buildings cgi so that the disparity wouldn't be so great. Look at hellboy, I would rather see a foam suit than cgi, it can be done.
i heard it was almost as good as Iron Man. but i'm pretty picky when it comes to cgi. i can spot crappy cgi from a mile a way and it bugs the crap out of me. the most recent movie that i can think of that had some bad cgi, Rambo. really lame cgi...
Reminds me of Peter Jackson's King Kong dinosaur cgi (or I called... XBOX 360 graphics). I prefer Spielberg's dinosaurs.
