When you said to raise the volume on speakers I thought it was gonna be some of those jokes with a loud scream in a calm moment. Then I heard her sing.

I saw it live on the telly yesterday. I was stunned, along with the audience.

 

I've been reading about her in the local papers all week and meant to have a listen. Thanks for posting that. Wow!

I'd far rather listen to someone who sounded good than looked good. I mean, I've been an Iggy Pop fan for years and look at him! ;-)

 

Amazing, no other word for it! I just like most other people was shocked at how good her voice was. Stunning!

Pretty stupid of the judges to judge her before she sang, they did the same mistake with Paul Potts. You'd think they'd learned their lessons.

 

Well, to be fair they do have to sit through a lot of crap so I guess they just sort of become accustom to disappointment after disappointment. Simon Cowl is a prick most of the time but then again he is being true, just his tactics are abysmal.:lol:

Seen this in the local paper and then watched it on TV just to see if it was like they said. You could see that when she came on that everyone was thinking its going to be another one of these people who are going to be terrible but she sang really well and showed them.

 

i love how Simon explained his decision. "I knew the moment you walked out..." something i would totally say.

 

It's pretty damned disappointing that basically everyone involved with the show and all of the audience that we were able to see seemed instantly put off at her not being a hot young woman..

Nothing about the intro would make me expect her to suck. At worst I would have assumed she was of average talent.

I'd bet good money that if they had arranged for a scantily clad blonde with a fake rack to lip sync to her track not so many people would be shocked..
