Im doing research on recognizable members of the games industry, such as Yuji Naka , Shigeru Miyamoto, Will Write, Peter Molyneux, Peter Moore, Reggie Fils-Aime, Hideo Kojima, Satoru Iwata, John carmack, etc. What i'd like to know is who do you think is worth knowing about that is part of the industry? Please give a brief description on what they have done or do that makes them important. Photos as well if possible.
How about John "Daikatana will make you it's bitch" Romero? Then of course there's J Allard of Xbox fame, not to mention"Major Nelson". Both are fairly well known. And no, john romero will never live down his reputation. Fool me once, shame on you. Make Daikatana, shame on you.

I know that a recent thread on this very subject was recently locked, but Yuji Naka simply has to be replaced in any "gaming celebrity" list with Naoto Ohshima - he was the real talent behind Sonic Team and probably why their more recent work has been so disappointing! P.S. How about considering Toshihiro Nagoshi (Daytona USA, Monkey Ball) for inclusion, too?
