Hi, The diagram for install the Infectus v2 on TestKit is the same than for Retail or no ? http://www.infectus.biz/diagrams/Xbox360_1b.JPG Thanks. Have a good day.
yes its exactly the same points... however the infectus software only supports 16mb flashchips at this time
Why would you get an infectus when you could get an Xecuter NAND-X and it comes with a pinheader kit so you could just plug it in to the headers that are already on the board. Also the infectus has like 17 wires or something, if you had to wire up the NAND-X it only has 7, and it's super fast at reading at writing to the nand I've had one for a couple weeks now so I know how fast it is, and you can use NANDpro and read whatever size nand you needed. Hawk
Yes and any future nand sizes, you just have to change the commands to get the bigger nand sizes. Hawk
Like nandpro usb: -r128 devkit.bin nandpro usb: -r256 devkit.bin Why do you want to read the nand? You can use flash360 to read it if you need it. Hawk
Infectus works with ALL kind of nand chips *BUT* the exact one used on the devkit (64MB NAND). Infectus assumes an wrong configuration for the 64MB chip making it impossible to be used on the devkit flash. That bug is not specific to the XBOX360, any 64MB flash will fail reading on the Infectus even if you hook it directly to the Infectus after pulling it out from the board.
they never added big block jaspers though at;east ive never seen software that supported them. anyways yeah it wont support 64mb BUT jasper XDKs have 512mb.
For infectus has anyone tried to manually add this 64MB flash in Infectus NAND Flasher 1.03 to>InfectusNANDFlasher.typ? The official infectus software sucked, but the above was very nice.
The only software that made the Infectus *half decent* was Bushing's amoxiflash. (Btw, if you're using the Xavbox Programmer, that's based on Amoxiflash too) Even with that I still avoid using the Infectus. What a useless and expensive P.O.S. :crying:
