Info about Resident Evil 1.5

I've been following the 1.5 scene since 2005 (wow does time fly) and seeing the footage and screenshots being released from MrBzork is awesome. I'm really excited to see what's coming and I'm quite excited that this could be the year we finally get to see it!

I haven't been this excited for a released since Duke Nukem Forever was saved by Gearbox (Nope, wasn't disappointed).

 

Betacam is NOT Betamax. It's a professional format.

 

It's like comparing CDRs to MO Disks (I wonder why they used that kind of media to retrieve the prison cell's passwords on Resident Evil?)

scam day is sad day. getting fraud pm from friends and randomers. whatever that man is share is not 1.5. we say before to beware of scammers. because scam day is sad day ... for victims and community. why 1.5 bring out the idiot of many?

I imagine it wouldn't be too difficult to leave a password cracker working on the RAR file for a couple of days to discover its true contents ... such a shame that shit surrounding 1.5 always goes down like this :\

 

That depends on the encryption method. It could take from a couple of hours in a high end system to literally ages. So relying on that isn't really a solid option..

 

We can use Amazon's servers in the cloud to crack software, I use a software for computer forensics work, and to remove passwords from files using the cloud service of Amazon, if a moderator sees it feasible. I can upload the software and manual on how to use amazon for option.

 

This was all discussed fellas, it ain't happening since the original rar wasn't released.

 

Someone from that thread already showed that the rar that Gboy sent out wasn't 1.5 at all. The file size was a perfect match for beta 2.

Proof he never intended to send it and doesn't have it (Bzork himself has said Gboy doesn't have it) and for some reason more proof is still needed before they can say who was scamming who.

We really shouldn't be bringing it up. Let it die off.

 

Shit always revolves around 1.5, has been for years. But at least recently more builds are popping up than usual, and it's only a matter of time something gets thrown into the wild (and would stop the nonsense arguments/threats/idiotic stuff)

 

The staff is dealing with that issue. There is no point whatsoever to get this thread locked too.

 

This game is just a retard and attention seekers magnet. That's how your recognize them, and it's a good thing after all.

Personally, that GManWillis dude seemed like a drama queen.
Comes out of nowhere, claims he has 3 builds of RE 1.5, and is butthurt that no one believes him on word's notice, without even a single screenshot.

Even if he has 3 builds of RE1.5, that doesn't mean he has to call the team as egoistical, and it doesn't give him rights to insult other other people for no reason. (well, yeah, there may be a reason, but not enough for harsh words like these).

I'd say throw the banhammer at GmanWillis at least for a few weeks, not because he could be this 1.5 anti-messiah, but because he is constantly insulting other people around without consequences. No, I am not one of those ''oh noes, he said bad word, team is angry,'' and no, I am not fan of THIA either.

He's been a member for 3+ years, has hundreds of posts and is a site supporter (i.e. he contributed to the site fund). You, on the other hand, have been here longer and yet you've only made 50 posts? In fact, all you've talked about in a long time is RE 1.5 and asked for information on secret societies you think exist that are going to let you join have free betas. Hardly the model forum member yourself, are you?

 

I can hardly speak for the majority but I find it unbelievable that persons like him ( proven scammers ) are still tolerated here by some because of " their site support ".
