Info about Resident Evil 1.5

I wouldn't even bother, mate. Wasting your time and electricity on trying to crack a file that's probably junk. Better off forgetting about it.

 

I can't see how any brain power can help. Passwords can be anything, like "iamanaligatorlickingevelopes123athome.russiaflakes" or something very much nonsense that you'd never guess. I personally never make my passwords something so simple like a name of a character that's in the game I'm password protecting.

I'm still playing catchup on this whole thing so I'm not aware of who OkeijiDragon is but is this a screenshot from the original build or the project that's being worked on?

 

It's from the pure build. OkeijiDragon is doing a documentary on 1.5 for his Shat-Canned Legends series on YouTube. There is no release date scheduled so far for it, but has has a source that is providing him with video and screenshots.

I think this build is much further along than we think it is. The inclusion of sewer areas has been proved, but how much f that area is there is unknown. We know the RPD is about half done and so is the Factory, supposedly. The labs is very incomplete and only features a handful rooms.

The lab has a placeholder for the evacuation audio which is basically a "this number has been disconnected, please hang up and try again" clip inserted. The Man-Spider AI is unfinished and does not pursue the player at all, but will stand still. It will attack is it is approached though. We don't now if Birkins other G forms are on the disc, nor do we know the extent of items or puzzles on the disc.

 

Thanks for the information. I'm a huge fan of documentaries so I'll be looking forward to that one.

Wait, I thought I read somewhere that the beta would be released to the public like sometime soon, along with a modified version for whatever reason.
Am I right or did I just get confused with all the reading and hype? I'm sure I read it somewhere/

 

Both versions are getting released. I don't think it will be soon though. They seem to have a lot of work left. I guesstimate it around July or so, hopefully. Who knows, they are ding this int heir free time.

 

Oh, creepy I think. And they must be doing it in their spare time! That's just silly!

Kudos RichardX. That scale model table puzzle is the one in the chief's room? Is it the entrance for the sewers? In any case, I can't wait to play the game. Most probably will have a RE 1.5 retrospective gathering with some buddies who always wanted that version than the retail one. I got to get a working PS1 in properly doing so!
