I added this new baby to my collection today and i am full curious.

It looks a like a Watara Travell Mate or Electrolab in fact it has 20 pins inside. But is NOT WATARA compatible at all. The pins doesn´t match (but the cartridges fit perfect, what is in fact strange).

It has 5 board games built in with a complex menu with language selector, game selector, pause, restart, continue and in fact graphics are very good more like Gameboy than Watara.

But what is it? Anybody knows it? Anybody have cartridges for it? I googled this and there is not info at all no pictures (only this unit from the guy who sold me and don´t know much more about it except it uses its own cartridges system)

So.. here we have the CHESS KING E-90. Anybody has info/software/other unit? I may be wrong but it seems to be obscure as a mole´s bedroom....

Maybe this system only plays board games? Or is some kind of Gameboy clone but with different cartridge format so it includes only 5 board games built in to avoid copyright violations (as other systems) ? Any idea?
    ??????????????????????

I believe it is a Taiwanese system (as I did see one in Taiwan) and although it does look like it has cartridges I believe that it does not use it at all. You are likely to be stuck playing chess, etc.

Although I recently picked up a Pocket Challenge by Benesse, it does have some basic games on the system although it is a cartridge based teaching aid and you think I can find any information about it?

Does that thing have a terrible screen, or is it just the way you photographed it? I can barely see the image at all.

Screen is EXCELLENT , like a Gameboy Pocket. Much better than the Watara, Gamate , etc.

Pictures are not well because too many light in the place i took the pictures because i was focusing in the external details. I will try to upload a gameplay. In fact what impressed me more is the screen, as i mention is very similar in resolution an framerate to a Gameboy pocket rather than to Watara, Gamate or Game Master.
