I have a Sega Saturn Magazine Book special on Keio Yugekitai with a cd. As a matter of fact, I bought it from GaijinPunch on here (thanks, btw!) On the cd, they have the animation from the Mega CD (Opening and ending) and the opening from the Saturn version. Now, there are 2 more animation sequences (very nice ones I might add) dealing with the Saturn version (I presume). One it seems is showing what happened right after the first game and the second is almost like a wrap-up of all the levels from the Saturn game. Did I decipher them right? How come these werent in the Saturn version, especially the first one I mentioned? If anyone has it, could someone loosely translate at least the second animation sequence? Any extra info. on this would be greatly appreciated since I really enjoy both of the games
This is the one you're referring, too, right? http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~japangaming/bn_inf.php?type=book&id=1314 I've not watched it in a while, but I didn't recall any MegCD stuff on there. Need to take another look. There's a lot of stuff that didnt' make it into the Saturn game. A shooting stage in the desert (which is also on the disc!) and about 5 characters or so... all of which are touched on very briefly in the book.
Yup, that's the one! I found out the stuff about the extra characters, played the extra stage (which I thought was pretty cool) and even the demo again. The first option is where the videos are. For the Mega CD version, they have the opening and ending animation sequences. For the Saturn version they have the opening, plus the 2 unknown sequences. The first is really one that looks like it SHOULD have been in the game and the other is almost like a wrap up of the events you played out in the game. I agree that this is one of the best "books" on a specific game. Not only a very nicely done book, but a really well made cd with a LOT of extra stuff. I am always happy that I bought it from you. One of my best...purchases...evar!
