    :smt040 I have one of these and was just wondering what someone else thinks about these. Like maybe if someone remembers seeing this thing before. Everything about it seems to work fine and it's a complete and operational box but it just needs a controller.

    There's a whole aray of little chips inside of it and an Eprom too. I figured it comes in a dual version by looking at the model number and then at the inside there's room in the chasis for another hardware board so they would sandwich in there. This is the single unit though It appears that the double may use a second power cord. All and all it's a nice unit though I'm searching over gameboy displays with the gameboy hardwired in to see if it can be used as the controller.

    Is that one of those demopods for the original Gameboy that displays what you're playing, on a tellie?

    Not really related to the Demoboy but another way of playing on a GameBoy and have it displayed on a TV:

    Game Boy = controller/monitor -> Famicom-Wideboy -> Famicom -> composite monitor

    Famicoms aren't the best at drawing a GB screen ;) I'd rather have a Demoboy.
