Anyone else here getting excited about Extreme Stage on PS3 coming out this summer. I spent many a happy hour playing the PS2 version and Street Stage on PSP. If it has only 10% of the arcade feel about it then I will be happy. The online racing might be good as well :icon_bigg
hmm, well Initial D arcade stage 4 was a bit of a let down I think so I wonder if they can pull off the feel of the old games.. Loved the 1st 3 games but the 4th one just didn't seem right. Now Wangan Maximum Tune 3 is a great arcade racer! Yakumo
I'm wondering how it will turn out. So stage 4 wasn't that good huh? Probably part of the reason they never brought it to the U.S. I'm still bummed they never brough special stage here for ps2.

I hope it is good, didn't like Stage 4 mainly as the monitor just seems wrong. LCD screens don't work properly for arcade games. Still shows that the Playstation 3 is the console of choice for decent arcade racers.
I havent had the luck to find a stage 4 machine anywhere near me... and the local arcades have already phased out 3
Fuck, 20k? IMO for arcades to be profitable again, cabinets like those should be $5k. This isnt 1995 when you could charge that for a daytona unit and the operator would get it back in a month or two.
