Wow just WOW, I dont care what anyone collects but if they show dedication like that, then they get instant respect from me. I never understood where the threshold is, how much does someone have to collect before it goes from cool to sad??? Im sure people can point at us lot & call us sad for collecting videogames or spending obscene amounts on dev hardware.
He'd probably kill himself if the house caught on fire and everything in there is burned down. It shows a somewhat obsessive attatchment to objects, thus it iswhy he probably never touched a girl.
All i can see is someone who loves comics & movies. They surround themselves with stuff they like. Whats the problem with that?
It's already been covered that he's married, furthermore I'm sure he's got insurance to cover it. Like einbebop said ~Krelian
But someone should ask him how he should react if he were to lose that collection. But still, thats dedication to be able to collect all of that stuff.
As said before what is the line between collecting and obssesion? For Insurance purposes that it always a problem.....how do you provide a value. Of the price you paid....the re-purchase value. What if you have something that is a one off.......can not be replaced...how do they price that. Also how often would you have to provide updates as surely people are always adding stuff. Security and storage facilities.........the list goes on I keep thinking I should list my stuff for insurance purposes but it would take forever :-(
