Installing the Duo X3 mod chip

I bought a Duo X3 mod chip and I'm researching to understand how to install it. From what I can tell, it's a clone chip and it's not from Team Omega. But it seems that you install it the same way as the other xbox mod chips. That is, install the header pins, connect up L1, L2, D0, BT points.

I've done an v1.0 before with the Duo X2 chip. I'll be attempting the Duo X3 on a v1.6 which is a bit harder since you have to rebuild the LPC header.

Any advice anyone wants to give for the Duo X3 installation? Do I need to worry about flashing the BIOS? I don't think I need to. I probably need to switch to the other bank (1) for 1.6 BIOS support.
