Interesting Pictures rippped from Track01 Dreamcast BETA PAL GD-R of Red Dog

Just some photo's the devs left on the BETA that were not on the retail version. Some character models and even I would guess is the lead programmers picture. Thought I would share these with any that cared.

 

Nice. There can be some nice things for the cdfs data. There is MDK2, not only art, but outtakes and two mp3s. The most interesting from my collection:

Slave Zero: ABSTRACT.TXT/BIBLIOGR.TXT settings file

Wacky Races: CARS.NWB, game file. Car models and textures. Maybe animation data, don't know.

Evolution 2: Far Off Promise(The best one in my collection): DUMMY.1ST, the development .elf for the original game, Evolution, World of Sacred Device.

 

There is even a virus on a Japanese game on that section of the disc.

 

These pictures actually were included in the retail version. Pop the disc into your CD-ROM and look for a folder called 'Cheekyimages'.

 

Well they will also be on the CDR I made from the GDR. It must only be the PAL version that got it as I only have the USA retail. I will be adding the new GDR to my DC list today.

 

Found an article about that. I wonder if their hypothesis of how it got on the disk is true.

Posting GDR of Red Dog in my section of DC games now!! Once burned just insert into CD drive on PC and look into EXTRAS folder to see the goodies from track01 left as well as a scan of the GDR and the httpd'ack settings.
