Wow! I'll need to find a million songs I like! http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/glasgow_and_west/7350281.stm Not only the molecular switch, but this bit impressed the crap out of me "The fact these switches work on carbon means that they could be embedded in plastic chips so silicon is not needed and the system becomes much more flexible both physically and technologically."
Yeah, this to me is akin to the Dundee reasearch into microchips. I just had to rub that in and I shall repeat it...Dundee, Scotland! All those of you who think all we do is drink, fight, eat greasy food and die of heart attacks! We also make sure we have top notch technology to use when parking our arses on the sofa for the majority of our lives lol
wow indeed! Unfortunately, I think it won't go into mass production anytime soon while I m still young
Okay! I think Irn Bru 'was' (because I am not sure of it's popularity now) the only soft drink in the World to give Coca Cola & Pepsi a serious run for their money. Constantly, despite massive advertising in Scotland the main US companies just couldn't flip Cadbury Schweppes' Irn Bru into second or even third place. The largest market for Irn Bru is in Russia. There is a reason for all of this of course. Apart from being a tasty beverage (questionable) it is also an amazing hangover cure! I remember when Coca Cola company decided to advertise everything in Glasgow. Everywhere you went there was a CC sponsorship. They had a Coca Cola Christmas Carnival with that bloody typical Coca Cola theme running through everything. Several months of an almost constant bombardment really sickened me of Coca Cola. Irn Bru came back with some excellent adverts on TV and Radio. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fID-W9RT7OY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nfHFWq-YIOk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LkbAgrwT42w http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Nh3X2s5D30 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JhHP3hP_0Pg&feature=related (They got into a bit of bother over one of these Irn Bru 32 adverts) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t5Dny-s27Dk&feature=related (Glasgow central on Saturday morning is FULL of Goths for some reason)
