    Hey everyone,
I had a thought that a PICO ATX adapter could be installed internally into a Colecovision so it could be powered with a standard 12v adapter.
Only issue is getting the -5v. I have had a look around at stepdown regulators but they are looking a bit more complicated than I want.
Anyone know of a simple regulator that could drop 12v or 5v to -5v?
    Thanks

Supply it with the 12v, as thats how you get highest output current apparently.

Although looking at the datasheet for the chip used, even at 5v supply you get 200ma. The original coleco PSU was only 100ma on the -5v line. So should work any way you do it.
