Quite a few people I have spoken to today in the UK have reported that they couldn't access the Internet from home late last night and early this morning. The same thing happened to me. I suspect server / DNS problems with my ISP. Fine here at work, anyone else had reporting issues?
Who are you online with? I've had issues recently with NTL, or Virgin or whatever they are called this week. Had the connection drop, or slow down a fair bit today.
I think the issues at home might actually be far more local to me. Potentially my router is either A) incompatible with (which would be bizarre) my sons old iMac G3 (he's only a little 'un and I wanted to let him have access to Cbeebies etc) or B) it's down the pan! I think the other issues were coincidental.
Problem solved and I'll be honest it had nothing at all to do with my ISP and a lot more to do with my 4 year old son who apparently stood on the connection box (remembered by wife 2 days too late!). Checked cable and it was damaged, so...
