Hello, I use windows xp and share my internet connection via two usb wifi dongles. I had a problem today that the Internet connection sharing option has disappeared from my Ethernet connection! It was there before and working, it was working today (im sharing the connection via a usb wireless LAN) then about 5mins after i turned on my wifi adaptors the internet stopped working on the other computer. Now ive noticed that the little hand has gone and the option to share that connection has gone too. However under the connection for the wireless LAN I can click share this internet connection even though that's not my internet connection! Thanks Paulo
Ok the sharing connection menu is back... however i still cant get the net on the other computer. They see each other (i think) they seem to connect. But i cant ping each other and there doesnt seem to be any packets going between them lots of sent packets but only 1/2 recieved.
A big reset could always help, pull out the power plugs of the usb devices, see if that helps. Sometimes I have to reset my router here because there's a problem with the sending/receiving of packages.
