    It's been a long time coming, eh? Well, for those that were interested, here are screen shots of the game in as much action as it allows! What do we have here? Dominos, Reversi, Go, Spades, Poker, and Chess!

    .

    Damn, I remember SEGA announcement about this one on early DC's days. Looks ready to press!

    wyte: Do you know why it was scrapped?

    Let's see, starting bid. . .ummm well, I rather it not get into a bidding war like PA did. So, if you are truly interested in it, just pass me along a message. I'll be taking offers all week :D

    As for why it was scrapped. . .well, I'm surprised you heard anything about this game, actually! It was cancelled because marketing could not find a way to distribute it. It couldn't be sold in stores for more than $10 since it was just a collection of simple parlor games. I suggested they either release it with the browser or on the website, but in the end they just tossed it out.

    Wombat, I am disappointed that the games aren't there yet. They told me 7 to 14 days! It's been that long, right?!? Hang in there for a couple of more weeks is all I can suggest. Maybe it'll bounce its way to you or back to me and I can yell at someone (I still have all of the documents for it)! Has anyone else not recieved their games from me? I'd like to know if my handwriting is really that bad!

    Looking at the screenshots of the game it looks similar to Guru Guru Onsen, a pack of games to play online (or offline too I suppose). They could have release it with some demo disc of the official Dreamcast magazine or something...

    However non practical it may be... it would have been cool to have a completely souped-up professional release of this and in conjunction with the Dreameye allow players faces to be displayed in the game while enabling a conference sort of voice chat room while playing.

    If you could have had a wide variety of games, online using either keyboard and or mic, and Dreameye was popular in the U.S./Europe.. it would have been neat!

    Add some casino stuff in there and have Dream-Credits ;) haha... ah well..

    Yeah, I remember SEGA announced it...It should promote the SEGANET while the real online games didn't come...
    I remember the people asking "where is the parlour game SEGA announced..." on a forum I went...
    I hope the guy who get it rip it...
    I cannot even try to bid on it...US$1 == R$3 (Brazilian reais)...damn!

    btw, I believe ODCM was cancelled by then. . .this was the last version of the game ever but there are a few weird bugs in it. . .I believe there is a move in chess that doesn't work (like advanced stuff) and the avatars weren't really worked on much. . .there are empty pages where they would have gone. Any other questions I can try to answer? :D

    So, does anyone know if you can post GD-Rs up on eBay nowadays? I got burned by Sony for the TEST PS2 so I figured I'd check it out first. . .

    'fraid not, you may be lucky if you do a one day auction or something, but they have really clamped down recently on things like GDR's

    I know you can post them on bidiots.com with no problem.... but then there's the problem with exposure.... (since bidiots.com isn't really all that well known just yet)
