Holly shit doesn't come close !! This person must have the biggest collection on earth !! thanks so much for the interview skitzo even though the guy isn't what you'd call very interesting. Just as well his collection is so great to keep the interest ! His boy is, well.... the envy of many little boys around the world, that's for sure. Yakumo
One word, WOW that is really an amazing collection, but I think he could be one of those guys, who really belongs here no doubt about that.
His answers were way too short. I wish he was more into the interview. Really dissapointing. I love the photos though.
IS that the original interview? I saw links to the pics on a few different sites (this one included) a week or so ago. Wondering what came first -- the chicken or the egg.
there are some new pictures in there, but alot of those are old "you can clearly see the difference in the image quality" i've seen them in digitpress before.
The guy's got to be a millionaire, no question. I wouldn't want to give out many specifics if I had that kind of vault, either.
Make fun of him for having a collection, but he's probably got one of the copies of Sonic Extreme on hand while you...don't.
A smart shopper can get a large amount of items. He has alot of atari and older, that doesn't appeal to me. But he does have a nice collection of modern titles. He could own a pawn shop for all you know. I'm too paranoid to keep all of that out in the open, you need to worry about flooding or fire.
Very nice interview, skitzo, thank you. Yeah, I agree. I was wanting to know about how many games, etc, he has, but he didn't give a value.
You're like me! I'd never leave all that out and especially not in a basement where all manner of bad things could happen. Yakumo
That is totally insane. This guy must be independently wealthy, even if he did get a lot of the stuff cheap, the sheer volume of it must have put him back thousands of dollars. Add to that most of it looks to be in complete condition tells me he probably bought most of it new. I thought I had a lot of stuff, this puts my peasley-ass collection to shame. I want to say something bad about him becasue I'm so damn jealous.
Think about how old the person is and how long they've been collecting too. (No, I didn't read the interview.)
one of the comments states that hes doing a stand on fleamarket on the weekend and trades within the week via ebay so he does live from his collection
Thanks for the interview Skitzo! It does not take a millionaire to have what this guy has. Some people forget to realize how easy it is to come across LOTs of games for very cheap or obscure rarities in places some would least expect. All it is is time and dedication.
