I would like to introduce a new game in the making, inspired by some of the great arcade games of the mid to late 80's.
The game is Shadow Gangs, and has the look and feel and games like Shinobi, Dragon Ninja and other Arcade ninja/acion games.

Here are some pictures of the game, a music track of the demo level,.

Music will be great in this game, as well as the gameplay.

I started the Gui work after having done the game mechanics , being confident in them and having the demo level done.

Meanwhile, here is an actual in-game picture showing more action than the previous ones.

 

Whenever you're ready to share, we're ready to give it a shot. I'll keep an eye on this.

 

Nice but you need to improve the background shading a notch, and maybe also the character sprites.

Backgrounds and other decor objects will get another pass, but for the character this probably is their final look.

 

Am interested in giving this a try. I browsed the website and am impatiently waiting. (Impatiently is the only way I know how to wait)

 

I thought I give a new Shadow Gangs update.

Product is near finished, a new great soundtrack is in the works, the musician sent me a new extract of it and it sounds fabulous. I'll put it for download as soon as I get it.

I know I always say a video is coming soon, or the demo soon...but this game is hard work and especially I want it to be the great product I am hoping it will be.

In any case, the demo should be out before the end of March.

Will you be willing to release this on Xbox Live Indie Games service? I believe it fits perfectly well with that category

 

Looking forward to the demo. Definitely interested in hearing the soundtrack as well. Looks like its shaping up well.

 

Not sure there will be an xbox release, but It will all depend on the kickstarter.

A word of advice: if you are going to try to sell this, don't use a copyrighted image of a Kardashian.

The game is inspired by the 80's arcade games and ninja/karate movies, but the setting of Shadow Gangs is now.

 

I am genuinely curious: why would you think that?

 

I'll think about it, if it is going to create issues, we'll replace it with something else.
