Given the near certain fall of euro values, I was thinking it would be best to put the euro balance into stocks of basic needs company like danone, or maybe buy chinese currency. I have not a ton in euro still in my eu account, but it's like play money at this point it's lost so much value. what are you doing with your spare euros, eu members?
Question: Is there a reason the Canadian dollar isn't a good investment right now? Isn't it rising against the US dollar? Maybe that's another area to look into.
I just checked on Forex, since 2 years, euro has lost 11% if traded with Swedish dineros, I dont consider it that bad? Compare euro with US instead
Either way you're playing the FX trade which has a very, VERY bitter bite. I would vote against Chinese currency. They're taking a lot of shit right now for artificially weakening it, so it seems like a good buy, but you just never fucking know. Seems very "predictable" which is bad in economics. If you just want to protect your investment, it's not hard: get a few mutual funds. I'm sure this has been said a million times before in economic threads here.
IMO just spend it on something within Europe, whether it is something you want or something you could make a profit on from bulk buying then reselling is up to you. If it had to stay as euros and had to go somewhere though I'd invest it into German cars in one form another. I'm not much of a saver though so
Not really, that is a bit false mate. Last time I check green technology was more like a joke where I live, and we had COP15, which instead became a "beat fest" for the police instead and the police even arrested a nun, who was just taking a normal walk while one of the demonstrations happened. So philosophically speaking, then yeah green technology is good, but the people with the money could not give a rats arse about the environment, no matter what promises they say or give.
If anyone is tired of their spare currencies, regardless of origin, they are welcome to send them to ________________ In all seriousness, I wouldn't invest in money. Then remember how lucky you are to be complaining about the value of your money. Then do something else that someone mentioned on here.
No offense intended, but your argument as per usual goes off on a wild winding path ending in a WTF type moment.
