I thought I'd put together a list of iOS titles I think people on this forum might appreciate. This is what I came up with (and feel free to add your own): ZiGGURAT: One of my favorite guns in videogames plus great graphics and (especially) music. It has sort of a Journey to Silius vibe that I can't approve enough of. DoDonPachi Resurrection: A bit more $ than the typical iOS app, but a fantastic port of my favorite Cave shooter. Kid Tripp: Side-scrolling autorunner with great levels. Super Hexagon: This here's by the guy who did VVVVVV. Awesome soundtrack, God-tier gameplay. Metal Slug 3: Before you harp on the touch-controls, let me just say that this port was done by DotEmu and that it's the best console-to-iOS port aside from the game under this. iCade compatible. Sonic CD: Wow, did the gentleman behind this port do a bang-up job. Brilliant, even. Really puts the companies putting out glorified ROMs with terrible virtual d-pads to shame. It's almost one of those ports that's worth owning simply because of how amazing the port itself is (I'd put Street Fighter Alpha 2 for the SNES in this category).
There's already a very recent thread about this: http://www.assemblergames.com/forum...tablet-games-have-you-been-playing-or-enjoyed And there was another one before that. We don't need more of these.
