Don't know if this has been mentionned already...
Nintendo has released their GBA & SP in China, with the DS upcoming, all under the iQUE brand ( http://www.ique.com )

They have various colors of SP, eg, Dragon One:

It is a chinese exclusive? Never seen it before.

Yep, the iQue is nintendo trying to break into the chinese market. For now its China only, but i remember nintendo talking about extending it to South america and the rest of asia in the future.

Edit: Yep, that model i believe is china only.

I'm guessing it's because of the feverish wave of anti-Japanese sentiment that's currently sweeping over China that Nintendo doesn't want to use their real name over there.

Actually it is because if you want to sell something in China it has to be done by a Chinese company or in partnership with one. Nintendo couldn't simply sell its own products. The govt wouldn't allow it.
