In regards to Propellor Arena, I'm ashamed to admit, but I never have gotten around to playing through propeller arena just yet. But, from what I've heard while the single player is alot of fun. It would've been the multiplayer online mode that would've shined. Now something came to mind. If we have a near final version of this game. Why can't it be taken online through some method... Obviously it would be hard, and while it might not be worth going through the trouble of setting up a mehtod of alternative online for this one game. With more and more offical servers for the DC online games shutting down. Is anyone working on a solution. It would be a shame to lose online capabilites for so many games.
There've been various rumblings over the years, I know people in the homebrew area of the DC scene had a go at a few titles a few years back, but really there's nowhere near enough BBA owners, and so few of them interested in playing online. The DC's online days are over, as far as I'm aware.
You can get your dc online via broadband without a BB adaptor see here http://www.racketboy.com/retro/2005/10/new-way-to-get-your-dreamcast-online.html But, thats besides the point. i'm sure people could organize tournaments and so forth to play online.
Hehe, fond memories. I used to use the site he links to way back when PSO was launched to play online through AOL on the PC. I'm surprised no one has written a program to make the process easier.
