Im playing final fantasy 2 on super ever drive, everything works fine but I would like to know if it is possible to load my sram file for ff2 which I was playing on snes9x exe for android, and pick up where I left off on the android with everdrive. I tried transfering an sram for ff2 on everdrive to the android emulator and it worked, but trying to tranfer my sram from the android to the everdrives sd card did not. Basically I want to know if there is a way to play ff2 at home on everdrive, save the game then transfer that save to play the rom on my phone, save again, then transfer the sram to play again where I left off on everdrive again.
That's definitely possible and easy to do. Just take the sram file from your emulator, rename it the same as the rom from your Everdrive SD card but with a *.srm extension and put it in the save folder of your everdrive. Do the same in reverse order to use your everdrive sram file on your android emu.
^^ good to know! thanks! :friendly_wink: ... if i was faced with that situation, throw up a batch file renamer document for the actual game roms and change them all to .bin! (leaving nvram related items til i was somehow stuffed along the lines?!) ed's have always been fine with 'bin' filename suffix provided the dump is accurate/worked okay before! ... [edit] typo...
just renaming it won't do... .SRM files are 8kb - the ones used on ED now are 33kb ..?!!?! don't get it...
