I mean, it would only be really used with Knife Edge - Nose Gunner, but... what the hell, would it be possible? :110:

Not sure if its ever seen light of day but at one point there was one in development/made.

It was called Naki N64 Lunar Gun. If games dont have the code to support the gun then the gun wont work...

Oh, thanks :D I googled for some info, but there is virtually nothing about a N64 version... Well, I was thinking about somebody actually producing a gun based on the released games (or game, because the only one I can think of is Knife Edge... but Sin and Punishment could benefit of one Gun as well).

In both KE and SaP the crosshair is moved with the Analog Pad. Would it be possible to transform the Analog Pad movement to some kind of sensor movement, activated by pointing the gun to the screen? I know it should be not an easy task, but ultimately is it even POSSIBLE?

It could also be used with the shooting mode in Jet Force Gemini, if it was feasible.

Yeah, it's possible. It would need some kind of system to determine where the gun is pointing in relationship to the screen, then transfer that info to the analog stick. Of course I have no idea where to start in actually making something like this. Maybe get one of those pointer mice (or wait for a revo/wii controller) and hack into one of those?

Not even remotely worthwhile. If you want to use a gun for analog stick games, find a positional gun such as the ones used in arcade games (Operation Wolf, Terminator 2, etc.) and hack it.

Hmm, thanks. That would be quite difficult (I'd say impossible, at least for me). But thanks for letting me know. ;-)

The gun games on the Philips CDi were played like this with the Peacekeeper gun. It plays really bad, though, but maybe it is possible to hack the CDi Peacekeeper gun to work on the N64?

Oh really? I didn't know it was possible to hack peripherals like this.

At least it is feasible... or so it seems. Does anyone feel like trying? :110:
