I am wondering if the Mario Party 3 Not-For-Resale cartridge is the same as the normal retail cartridge in terms of gameplay, or is it a DEMO? I have been trying to figure it out for a while but I can't seem to find answer to my question by using the all knowing google, so I'll ask the experts
Aren't NFR's just cartridges that stick into the kiosk sets? most kiosk sets have like a reset circuit that makes the system reset after a while to go back to the title screen.
Yeah, they are the games that were sent to Toy'R'Us and other video game stores for them to put into their kiosks for customers to try out. Some of the NFR carts are the exact same as the retail game, except for a different sticker. There are also some NFR games that have a vast amount of differences from the retail game so that's why I am asking. Are you saying that the game it self will reset or that the kiosk consoles had reset timers?
90% of NFR games are stock retail. Only a small handful are actual demos. It was the console with the timer, not the cart.
