    Hi all,

I have a Master System Converter lying around, and decided to try it out. However, every MS game I try on it seems to be glitched in various ways. For example, in Sonic you can fall through the floor, in Wonderboy the enemy sprites look like the player sprite, etc. Is this common for all MSC's, or did I get a dud? Here's a picture of the model in question.

Cleaned everything, even the insides, and it looks like new! However, I still get the same results. :(

Apparently the old Powerbase adapters used a batch of dodgy caps, have you tried replacing them?

Moved to the repair section, as it's more appropriate. By the way, your picture links are broken.

Clean all the contacts with isopropyl alcohol (contact cleaner) and cotton buds first. Including the games. Do they work on a Master System?

You could try changing the electrolytic capacitors, but I've heard of people doing that and still having glitches with the converter.

Woops, didn't see that this thread got more replies. Thanks for the help guys, I'll try some contact cleaner first. If that doesn't help, I'll look at the caps.
