Your not banned, I had the same error when installing the NXE recovery, you have to recover again with your HDD attached to fix the problem ;) So back up anything you want to keep because the HDD will be reformatted.

PartnerNet does go down every week for maintence and sometimes can last up to 12hours so dont fret unless you can't access partner net for a few days! =P

I doubt that... I've never not been able to sign online for the past year.. And I've been online daily..

This day(today) is the only day I've ever seen it down.

LOGON_MACS_TIMEDOUT is the error my friend got when he got banned.

    I just get.

    LOGON_AUTHORIZATION_TIMEDOUT.

    But maybe that's just me.

PARTNER is down for one week from yesterday.

"PartnerNet will be unavailable for access from 12:01AM PST Thursday, January 22nd through 11:59PM PST Thursday, January 29th as this environment is taken offline to be both upgraded and migrated to a new home for improved stability and serviceability. This outage will affect LIVE connectivity for all titles in development for Xbox, Xbox 360, and Games for Windows - LIVE. In addition, new props of content or game configurations will not be processed during this timeframe. This outage is not expected to impact any LIVE-enabled profiles. We will be working with our partner teams to ensure that this move takes place as quickly and painlessly as possible, but it is absolutely vital that this move take place, in order to keep the PartnerNet servers running, as well as improve upon the maintainability of those servers. If you have questions or concerns, please contact the XDC developer support team at gameds@microsoft.com and your Account Management representative. If you are uncertain who your AM is, you can email gamesrep@microsoft.com for information on who to contact."
