Is the user known as "Jinn" Dead?

I was watching voultar's ps2 video earlier and in the comments someone mentioned how they were sad that they haven't been able to talk to him in a while. JInn is known by many as the user who created works of art in terms of ps2 mod installs. I became curious seeing as this was out of character for him, so I decided to check a few different places. It seems after late December of 2015 he fell off the face of the earth. It is even noted here that he didn't complete a transaction before he stopped communicating. (Other user posting how he didn't send a their console back.)

From a root of genuine curiosity does any know if Jinn died or what happened to him?

I don't think I'm ever getting my PS2 back, but whatever, I have a slim TEST unit now instead.
