Hey, Ive been making up an arcade machine for over a year now which includes MAME,Sega Model 2,3 Emulator etc and also added Xbox 360 and Xbox Original and PS2/PS3 Consoles. Ive been slowly trying to get as many arcade ports for ps2/ps3/xbox/xbox360 etc as possible. Ive got a bunch but I would love to get as many as I could really! I simply can't afford to buy hundreds of arcade systems (or have room!) but ports are always do-able and still provide me with entertainment I know for instance a lot of Outrun 2 Ports around etc, Xbox 360 seems to have a lot of Taito Type X ports, PS3 seems to have a few Lindbergh ports but there will be hundreds around.
At this & previous generation console hardware, I would venture a guess that any shmup or fighting game would be an arcade port. If you are willing to put forth a bit of effort & have some Excel knowledge, you can go on Wikipedia, copy their lists of arcade games: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_arcade_video_games then compare that to their list of console games you are looking for. If the title is the same, it's probably a match. It's wikipedia, so you can't assume this data will be 100% correct, but i'm sure it's correct enough, especially for the timeframe you're looking at.
