Is There a Software Emulator to Run Original GD-ROM to Test?

Hi. There's a hardware GD-ROM emulator already (thank you) but if there is a software based emulator that can run the actual GD-ROM disk to test (Windows, Linux or OS X) if the culprit is the disk itself or the GD-ROM unit/lens.

No there isn't really a software emulator to read gdrom discs through a pc cd/dvd drive - but there should be several easy ways to test if your gdrom drive/lense isn't functioning correctly. Namely, does it read other gdrom discs ok? Does it read music CDs?
