I know there are only 5 region free games but I want the console itself to be region free for any game it plays, and I have looked and looked for any easy solution, but only thing I find is to change the systems locale but I don't think that even does anything when playing games or anything really Does anyone know how to easily make it region free ?
What do you mean, there are only 5 region free games? More than half of the games for the Xbox 360 are region free. To make your console truly 100% region free, you need to JTAG or RGH it.
Jtag refers to the test/debug port on the xbox 360's motherboard, it allows direct access to the systems NAND flash.. early units with older dash boards could be easily modified via this port. However a lot of consoles are not compatible with this as it's now blocked in new dashboards.. RGH is simmilar, the NAND is still modified but in order for the new unsigned code to load an exploit is required, this exploit relys on glitch info the consoles cpu to make it accept the different commands.. Rjtag is very similar to rgh and is used mainly on older consoles
JTAG is an old hack that uses the consoles Joint Action Test Group NAND points to reboot into an old dashboard with a glitch that allows unsigned code. RGH sends a reset pulse to the CPU that alters the way it runs, allowing unsigned code R-JTAG uses RGH to reboot into the old JTAG cb. Basically if you can get it to run unsigned code you can run NTSC & PAL games on the same console.
So Much complicated stuff @_@ is there an easier way to do it like softmodding with a USB ? Or making it possible with a USB In general ?
It's not easy like the original Xbox, MS tried there best to make them unhackable, if it was that easy it would be like building a bank and leaving the back door open.
