Is this genuine Sony PS2 controller?

Hey, I came accros this controller and did not know something like this existed on PS2. It is wireless controller. Is this Sony made or 3rd party licensed?

The only officially licensed ones I know of are the Katana controllers that were included with a few cars that had a PS2 installed.

I have one of these, it has pretty good build quality and battery life.

 

I don't remember Sony making a wireless controller for ps2. I could be wrong though.
