is this Ocarina of Time N64 legit? I just found this auction on ebay about a weird version of the game "The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time" for N64. http://www.ebay.it/itm/Zelda-Ocarin...ideo_Games_Video_Games_JS&hash=item3cc383be22 The description explains that this is an exclusive version released only in Germany. I also found on google another pic of this strange version (That looks to me a custom one): But this image only increases my doubts. How you can see they are a little different (the one in the auction shows a white shirt instead of a black, besides it doesn't show the strategy guide that we can see in the pic). Does anyone know more about it?
Yeah, it's legit. I can't tell you much about it, though. Honestly, it's just a crappy cardboard container for a standard OOT PAL. Those extras were available separately(I think). Don't know too much about it. I've seen it on ebay before, but stuff like this isn't really my thing.
Finngamer says it's fan created Special Edition, however I'm unsure of that. http://finngamer.webs.com/nintendo64.htm
Thanks. I also checked finngamer, but as I said in my post it shows even a different contains. Anyway I was curious to know what's the story behind that version. I think is an ugly version, the box looks like a shoes one :redface-new:
Its a fan created box to put all the ocarina merchandise stuff avaliable at that time, thus some diferences, like the shirt, its not like a real collectors box
I still think you should go for it, even though it's fan made and many were made in fact. It's unique and would be great in your collection! Your collection is quite large, this would be great to see in it
Yeah, even though it's fan-made, it's pretty neat.. Isn't the site and it's various types of members whether they be developers, collectors, or just game enthusiasts about the obscure? Something doesn't have to be made by the industry to be considered worth collecting or having. I'm all for fan-made items as long as they specify that it's fan-made, or leave enough information for one to come to that conclusion.
