    N64 IS-viewer trouble shooting

I"m trying to get this piece of equipment up and running. The is-viewer program doesn't recognize it and I do have a SCSI terminator on it as required. anyone have any idea/tips to getting it up and running or had theirs working? My computer does see the viewer and I have installed the drivers successfully. Thats as far as I've gotten so far........

edit: also to note it has to be a .n64 file, anyone know how to rename a rom file to a .n64 file from a .v64/.z64?

v64 is byte-swapped. Open it in a hexeditor and youll see the difference.
z64 is normal, just rename to n64.

I tried that and still havent been able to get it to load anything........the file might not be the problem though, it might be my software or the fact I'm using xp............

edit: yeah you cant just rename the file, I found a program to do that.....but it still wont load onto the viewer so I'm still leaning towards the software/xp issue

It could be you have to use a port mapper with it.
