    Hi Folks

I have picked up a converted Core Grafx console with an RGB mod taking the outputs form the EXT Bus connector.

Initially when I connected this there was no video output to my TV set, however when I added a 100ohm resistor between pin 16 of the scart and +5V from the PC engine a picture is now shown.

However half of the screen has a stable picture and the other half (top) is wobbly.

Looking at the mod it looks like there was an amp circuit on R G and B which I have removed and still no joy. Also there were capacitors connected to R G and B and ground, I have also removed these with no change.

My TV set is a Samsung LCD and the console is connected to the RGB port. (UK based)

A Google search finds other people with this issue however no solution is offered.

Has anyone here seen this issue?

You probably ended up with a French (Sodipeng) modified Coregrafx, I sold one at Gamestation a few years ago!!!

Mine came with a little box you attached on the Ext bus which had a scart connection on it. I could have a browse on the French site for you, but I wouldn't really attempt to modify it, you're most likely missing a box that came with the console originally.
