I'm elektrixx from Australia. I've been constantly looking for perfect video game quality with emulation combined with 16:9 hacks but realised a couple of years ago that you can't beat the accuracy of the original console. In the years prior I corrected the mistakes of my youth by going back and buying all the Nintendo consoles and the games I wanted. I've since dumped all my games (and saves where possible) and uploaded it all to Dropbox. At least I know if my house caught on fire tomorrow I'd still have access to my data. Recently I got an UltraHDMI slapped onto my N64 and plan on doing the same with my other consoles. HDMI output on my N64 is a literal game changer. Vi De-Blur tops it off and I'm gonna start adding all those AA disabling GameShark codes to my EverDrive 64 this week. Going back to trying for 16:9 in 4:3 games; I recently purchased everything I need to run my backups on my GameCube. In this case I won't expect perfection, but I want to play a bunch games in widescreen with Swiss. I've been doing a lot of research over the years to get my consoles just the way I want them. I was VERY close to buying a Framemeister but decided it was the wrong path because I want to keep cabling to a minimum. I've got a fair few questions and that's why I'm now here. I know that this place has a lot of smart minds and I hope to become one as well, on my path to perfect console gaming. (And then I just added "Framemeister", "GameShark" and "EverDrive" to my Google Chrome dictionary!)
