I remember that crap as well. In fact when the PS3 controller was first shown I knew I had seen it before. I just whish they would have stuck with it. We all could have had the biggest laugh ever then  But, come on, even thinking about releasing that shambles as the official product was bad enough. yakumo
i think it looks terrible and glad sony never went with the same design for the ps3. it just looks crap
Translation is as follows what sony said about the "new" controller was revolutionary . Is bullshit all the way, and a sorry excuse of not paying the money about the analog, and vibration license to some company long ago. And yes, the Sony controller did look VERY familiar to something I had seen way before the PS3.
remember seeing this way back aswell, i think it looks allright ? definetly looks comfortable (aside from the tearshaped buttons maybe).. guess im on my own on this
The tilt controller? Isn't that one of the Microsoft controllers? If it's the same one we are both thinking about it had a ball & socket either in the middle or just off to one side. In the sidewinder range I think. Just found this image** http://ec1.images-amazon.com/images/I/71XEXGYBPSL._AA280_.gif I love on that Alps advert it says something about the design letting you "concentrate on playing the game, not on a throbbing thumb" - well, glad about that then. Never had a throbbing thumb with a PS controller until I used the PS3 with Sega Rally! They really do need to re-design the PS3 controller, there is no feedback and the triggers are far too soft.
No, this was a Ps1 controller. I'll have to dig up a magazine ad. It was a wierd tilt controller that you actually tilted, kind of like PS3 has.
If you guys clicked my youtube link it is a demonstration of warhawk on PSone with the Tilt sensor PSone controller. you're welcome.
I have a few of those, super comfortable, excellent ergonomics. Heavy heavy heavy. It feels like it'smade of metal. Come on people! You don't evben remember your psone accessories? Serious slacking going on here! h:
Yup, thats the one. I didn't click the youtube link because I was at the college at the time, don't wanna be an ass and wreck the net like the other people do. We have a terrible net connection there, and when you have a ton of kids streaming off youtube and myspace every second, it doesn't go too fast.
