    OK, so I just got back from a trip to America from Japan and had the opportunity to pick up the DVD box of Season 7 of Dr. House. But since I have AppleTV I thought I'd just wait until I got back and I'd stream the sucker.

    Just checked on iTunes and I can download the season for $59.99... $20.00 more than buying the physical disks and packaging...

    so then I checked out the price of the box set on Amazon and saw they offered Dr. House season 7 as a digital download as well... for $9.99

    THAT'S A FUCKING $50.00 DIFFERENCE :evil::DOH::evil:

    I thought digital copies were suppose to make things less expensive. WTF, Apple... WTF:dammit:

    I'm amused you ever thought Apple would cut you a deal.

    Only to those offering them. We get to pay more since it's a "convenience"...

    This is where they THINK they're being green, without packaging and all other shit. Really, it's stupid. I'd rather have a shelf full of DVDs and not a HDD full of video files.

    Also Apple just suck their customers dry. iTunes is a stupid online digital store.

    To be fair iTunes isn't alone, Steam does it too.

    I've never found steam to be more expensive than the real thing. Not to mention you can get the games for a couple of quid when the sales come around.

    Sales on Steam are usually great...

    I'm not sure who decides the prices for games on Steam but an example is Dawn of War II. On Amazon.co.uk the Gold Edition (includes an expansion) is £8.67, on Steam the standalone game is £19.99.

    Steam is all about the sales.
